Q: Do you have floor plans I can look at? A: Yes, we have a number of standard floor plans that you can look at. You can build one of the standard plans or modify it to suit your needs.
Q: Can I give you my own floor plan and have you build to that plan? A: Yes, we can have plans drawn to an existing floor plan or a sketch of what you would like.
Q: Besides the floor plan, how much can I customize my house? A: We offer a wide range of options including flooring, siding, fixtures, trim, kitchen cabinetry and countertops, bathroom options, and heating and cooling systems options. We will be happy to sit down with you and go over all the options available to you.
Q: Can I preview available floor plans on the web? A: Yes, please fill out the contact form on the “Contact Us” page of our web site. Add a note to the comment section requesting links to the web sites of the modular manufacturers we use. Many of their floor plans are available on their sites. If you don’t find what you need there, we can provide to you plans books with additional floor plans for you to choose from, or design a custom floor plan to your requirements.
Q: Are your homes and buildings ADA compliant? A: Any floor plan we offer can be modified to be ADA compliant. Hallway and door openings can be widened to 42 inches and 36 inches respectively. ADA compliant bathroom design can allow for five feet turning radius and include accessible showers with hand-held shower heads, and lowered medicine cabinets. In addition, lowered kitchen countertop heights , electrical switch locations, wall mounted telephone placement, and electrical outlet placement can allow for easier access for individuals in wheelchairs.
Q: Do you build duplex or multi-family buildings? A: Yes, in addition to single-family homes, we build duplex or multi-family buildings. We can also design and build larger multi-family structures such as group homes, apartment buildings, nursing homes, and the like.
Q: Do you offer commercial structures? A: Yes, we can custom design a commercial building to suit your needs, in any size from a small one story office building to a large, multi floor, commercial structure.
Q: I want to build a house but I don’t have a lot, can you help me find land? A: Yes, we can refer you to a Realtor who can help you find a piece of land. Please click on the Find Land link to the left.
Q: How are modular homes and buildings built? A: First, you will finalize your design and we will prepare your building site and build your foundation. Next, the majority of you home or building will be built at the modular manufacturer’s factory. Then, your home or building will be delivered to your building site and a set crew will place it on the foundation. At this point, your structure will be about 90 percent complete. From there, we will connect your utilities and complete the construction of your home or building. |
